I used Yummy cupcakes for my sister's baby shower last October and they did not disappoint. I live in another state and it was a very easy experience. I was able to place the order over the phone, pay and get everything all situated weeks before her event. I had my cousin and sister scoop them up the day before with no issue. I even had them make a special, extra large carrot cake cupcake for my sister, as it's her favorite. My sister and all the other guests loved them! I would absolutely recommend!

These cupcakes are amazing!! I have about 5 different favorite kinds. You can't go wrong!

Seriously delicious and moist cupcakes! Their cupcakes are always super fresh! The frosting is just the right amount and it's never overly sweet! They have lovely customer service and it's nice to have a place in downtown South Bend to go to for cupcakes and not have to drive all the way out by the mall to get some. I really love their daily vegan and gluten free offerings! I like that they aren't just boring vanilla and chocolate but creative flavors like blood orange, german chocolate, cherry balsamic, etc. They also have cupcakes in a jar and Mexican Coke which is soooooo yummy! Definitely go here for amazing cupcakes which are a lot better than Gigi's!

Patiently have been waiting for this to open up since I had first seen an article on a local news website back in September (2013). As I am writing this, the cupcake shop isn't even opening for a few hours, but they had cupcakes sitting in the window... . . . The owner standing inside trying to tell me they didn't open until 10:00am for their soft opening...I politely shook my head no about 3 times, and the owner folded and let me and two of my co-workers inside. First purchase at the cupcake shop and I am pretty damned excited about my dollar getting framed. Thanks Larry! Onto the cupcake - It was awesome... Go get one.

Yum! Their vegan cupcakes are absolutely delicious. So far I've had lemony coconut and very berry, and I was completely satisfied with both. The service is great, staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a very wide selection for non-vegans also! Dessert here is a must.

Delicious variety of cupcakes for anyone's taste and very friendly service. The owner is nice and makes sure you're satisfied! I will continue to purchase Yummy Cupcakes over the competitor in the area.

I went to Yummy Cupcakes to use a Groupon on a Wednesday evening before they closed. They told me they had been pretty much wiped out yet they still had at least 10 flavors left to choose from and multiples of each of those flavors. I was very excited when the manager and the young lady helping box my cupcakes were extremely helpful when I asked them at least a dozen questions about the cupcakes I was choosing from. They certainly know their products well. They had chocolate ones, sprinkle ones, fruity ones, salty ones, and probably something to suit anyone's needs. Don't be fooled, these aren't cheap cupcakes. By the nature of the love and commitment they put into making a good cupcake, they are worth the extra dollar. The customer service was also worth my money. I would give Yummy Cupcakes a 5 out of 5 for being very good though not the best cupcakes I have ever eaten. I am excited to recommend them to others who love a good cupcake and a great customer experience. I haven't had a better one is South Bend. The location is also ideal for anyone looking for something within walking distance of many of the other fine eating establishments in DTSB. Thank you Yummy Cupcakes!

Gluten less cupcakes are the best in the area. The cake itself is delicious! Most gluten free cakes are either overly dense or crumble apart. Their cake is great to eat on their own, with just the right amount of frosting on the cake, not to overwhelm the texture and taste of the cake. I ordered cakes for my birthday party and everyone went CRAZY for them. Store space: more space to sit would be better but it not a deciding factor if I get a cupcake for not. Only suggestion: more upbeat and charismatic staff would really make this place the best it could be.

A little pricey, but that seems to be the cupcake business. Tons of delicious flavors. Moist. Inventive. Much better than their local competitor.

I'm not a person who is big on cupcakes or any desert of that matter. But as of recently my pregnancy cravings have turned my world upside down and I decided one day that I really wanted cupcakes. I told my girlfriend and she referred me to this place. I got two just to try. I bit into a chocolate cupcake topped with peanut butter and it was so moist and light. The combination just went well together. I'm so glad that this place is around for my inconvenient cravings!

This place is incredible. My husband and I are vegans and while I stay away from sugar I have been unable to resist trying these cupcakes and they are unbelievable. We still haven't tried a flavor we haven't liked. My husband loves this place so much that I asked if they could make him a small 6 inch cake for his birthday and they agreed-- it was vegan vanilla with raspberry filling, and not only was it gorgeously decorated but it was literally the best cake either of us have ever had, vegan or not vegan. We are so impressed that we will come back here for every holiday that could possibly involve a cake or cupcakes.

I'm a big cupcake fan,and I'm very particular about cupcakes. Not all cupcakes are good. There must be a balance between frosting and cake. From my experience so far, I must say these are the best cupcakes the South Bend area has to offer. I loved their flavor options and the frosting to cake ratio was right on par. I also like how the variety changes from week to week for each day of the week. This will be my go to cupcake shop when I'm in town visiting my partner.

Super friendly, convenient location, and just fantastic cupcakes. They plan their menu a full month out, so you can properly plan for your sugar coma. The only downside is that, since they make everything fresh (definitely a plus!), sometimes they run out of specialty flavors if you get there later in the day. And their vegan and gluten-free selection is great! Also, a surprisingly good tea selection for such a small shop.

Wow! I got vanilla and just wow! I hear chocolate is also good and my traveling companion (9 years old - the child of my first marriage) wants to go back next week too. Good atmosphere for quality time for us.

These cupcakes are the bomb dot com. The shop is on the smaller side, but absolutely adorable, and fits right in with the Downtown South Bend revival. The fact that they have a tremendous variety of cupcakes daily blows my mind, and it's even better that they supply a monthly calendar with their options (You can plan ahead when you feel like treating yourself ;). The only down part is that you'll have to go there early to make sure they don't sell out of the one you want (I think that's a good sign though!). There cupcakes always have the right balance of frosting and cake, and the flavors are always creative. I'm a personal fan of fruity cupcakes, and the ideas they come up with are pretty unique and taste just as accurate. You can tell that these cupcakes are made from real ingredients too. The fact that they have gluten free and sugar free options are wonderful. What makes it just THAT much better is that their gluten free cupcakes taste just as good as one made with gluten in it. I can't say enough praise about Yummu Cupcakes, and this is one of the places I'm going to miss now that I've moved. It may be on the pricier side, but it is definitely worth every dollar and bite!

Wow! The cupcakes are delicious! I brought two dozen of the variety minis. My friends polished them off before dinner. They thought they were wonderful! Fresh, moist, and great variety. A perfect gift for someone. I can't wait to visit again!

I've visited Yummy Cupcakes more times than I care to admit since they opened, and I've been happy with the different flavors I've tried. I was especially impressed by the coconut cream pie cupcake and the old-fashioned, which is a more delicious version of a Hostess cupcake. In all of the cupcakes I've tried, the cake has been moist and the frosting has been good, and the ratio between cake and frosting is perfect (I don't have the mindset that cupcakes need to be topped by a cup of frosting).
